baby #2: week 35
november 18-24
what has been going on this week: lots of nursery progress! plus i went to rachel's housewarming party, had a family sleepover at liz and joe's and hung out with diana.
size of baby: he weighs over 5 pounds and measures over 18 inches long. the size of a honeydew melon. still trying to wrap my head around that!
maternity clothes: same old and stuff is getting pretty snug, but i'm not buying anything else at this point.
purchases: this rug in navy for the nursery! can't wait for it to be delivered.
nursery: speaking of the nursery, here is a cute picture of my little workers from earlier in the week:
as i mentioned yesterday, thatcher assembled the crib over the weekend. here it is:
we also bought and assembled the dresser:
aren't you proud of the progress we made?! but just to keep it real, i still have all this stuff to organize and put away in the closet :)
symptoms: sooo many braxton hicks contractions lately. and dare i say even a couple "real" (i.e. painful) contractions this week? wowza!
movement: he is running out of room, but still quite active!
gender: little man!
food cravings/aversions: many women "run out of room" in their bellies for food towards the end of pregnancy....i don't have that problem, apparently. haha. i am still eating a ton.
morning sickness: still that liiiiitle bit of nausea in the morning. i actually started using a different toothpaste (yes, it took me this long to try that), and it seems to lessen it.
what i miss: sleeping comfortably. sunday night was pretty bad. i got up twice to use the bathroom and was awoken by one pretty painful contraction at one point.
best moment of the week: nursery progress and nesting!
what thatcher is saying: he is a little freaked out by how fast the weeks are flying right now :) you and me both, buddy!
sleep: see above.
what i'm looking forward to: finishing the nursery, picking his name (i feel like the one name we can both agree on is going to be it at this point, but we'll see!), thanksgiving!
do i look cold? it was honestly about 10 degrees out when i took this pic. ha!

The nursery is looking great - it makes it so much more 'real' having the crib set up, I think! YAY!
