baby #2: week 33

33 Weeks Pregnant
november 4-10

what has been going on this week: a low key work week, busy weekend (dinner with carlsons, met mandi's kitty, visited mollie + triplets, brett dennen concert, coffee date with sarah, celebrated grandma cheryl's birthday - whew!)

size of baby: over 4 pounds (whooooa) and 17 inches long (whoooa). the size of a pineapple.

maternity clothes: nothing new to report. i feel like i wear the same 5 outfits over and over, but i'm not too sick of them yet, luckily.

purchases: found some good deals at carter's this weekend (a couple onesies, pants, and a sun hat for florida) :)

nursery: my friend kris brought over the crib sheets and valances she made and they are perfect! we cleared all the furniture out and thatcher primed. paint will go on next weekend, probably. can't wait!

symptoms: the usual: broken out skin, hungry and tired a lot, braxton hicks contractions, some ligament pain,  but overall i feel pretty good! evenings/sleeping are the most uncomfortable.

movement: still pretty active. i love feeling his little knees, elbows, and feet pushing out. even though i usually can't tell what is what :)

gender: little man....i can't wait to see what he looks like!

food cravings/aversions: way too many holiday coffee drinks and sweets. but i can't stop! eeek.

morning sickness: still that liiiiitle bit of nausea in the morning. i've just accepted that it probably won't go away. at least it doesn't last long.

what i miss: sleeping comfortably and not feeling huge, but if those are my biggest problems i'm pretty lucky.

best moment of the week: getting the nursery started...finally!

what thatcher is saying: he is trying to manage having a crazy hormonal wife who wants the nursery done yesterday ;)

sleep: i wake up a lot and have trouble getting back to sleep. still only 1 bathroom trip (or less) per night, though!

what i'm looking forward to: christmas! (yes, i realize it's not even thanksgiving yet) and our trip to florida in february that we booked this week!
