baby #2: week 31

31 Weeks Pregnant

what has been going on this week: kicked off halloween week by going to the community ed halloween party, getting our pumpkin, and going to our neighbors' fall party, also got started on the nursery (well, disassembling our room somewhat).

size of baby: my app says he now weighs 3.3 pounds (guessing he's a little more) and is over 16 inches long. wow! the size of a coconut. this belly is definitely starting to feel heavy!

maternity clothes: just rotating my little maternity wardrobe. haven't bought anything for myself in a while and i'm going to try not to for the rest of my pregnancy...we shall see.

purchases: my friend kris and i went fabric shopping over the weekend and got these prints for his nursery. the green polka dots will be curtains and the other 2 will be crib sheets. i can't wait to see them!

symptoms: the usual: broken out skin, hungry and tired a lot, braxton hicks contractions, some ligament pain,  but overall i feel pretty good! evenings/sleeping are the most uncomfortable.

movement: i can only imagine that he's running out of room in there, it seems like he's moving slightly less these days, but he still gets crazy on occasion

gender: baby BOY!

food cravings/aversions: no jimmy johns this week, but plenty of halloween candy!

morning sickness: still that liiiiitle bit of nausea in the morning. i've just accepted that it probably won't go away. at least it doesn't last long.

what i miss: sleeping comfortably and not feeling huge, but if those are my biggest problems i'm pretty lucky.

best moment of the week: finding out my dad's cancer has stayed in check for the last couple months. the best news ever!

what thatcher is saying: he helped me move some stuff out of our bedroom and is on board with my hopes of painting/setting stuff up in the next 2-3 weeks.

sleep: as i mentioned above, sleep is getting pretty uncomfortable, but that's to be expected.

what i'm looking forward to: more halloween fun! and getting closer to meeting our little man.

Feeling "huge"... You and me both, girl! You look SO adorable though!! All belly :-D

SO AWESOME about your dad's news.

My cute fruit app says that baby is the size of a coconut THIS week (and I'm 35) Funny how two apps can be so different ;-)

Have a great rest of the week, Melissa!
