this picture pretty much sums up my weekend
warning: whiny post ahead. i should have known i wouldn't escape without getting sick. here is a list of things i had to miss out on this weekend because i caught the mother of all colds from azalea: getting a pedicure, blogger get together, tegan's 2nd birthday party, and a superbowl party. oh, and not to mention i was solo parenting for a good chunk of the weekend because thatcher was taking a class friday evening, all day saturday, and half of sunday. there are not many things harder than parenting a toddler when you are sick. i have one of those colds that takes everything out of you: watery eyes, runny/stuffy nose, cough, sinus pressure (but no fever luckily!)
