autumn dreamin'

first let me say, i'm all about summer. it's by far my favorite season. i wrote about my top 10 favorite things about summer in this post back in june. for the past couple weeks it's been very hot in mn. but this weekend, it was like someone flipped a switch. the humidity went away and the temperature dropped 15 degrees. it was heavenly. and it's even got me dreaming about...yep, autumn!

so i give you (in no particular order), my top 10 favorite things about autumn: 

1. changing leaves
2. decorating for halloween
3. bonfires in the crisp night air
4. pumpkin bread and hot apple cider
5. apple orchards and pumpkin patches
6. jeans and sweatshirts while still getting to wear flip flops
7. the pumpkin carving party our neighbors host every year
8. napping on the couch with gopher football on in the background
9. the graham's chili cook-off
10. the fact that i no longer go back to school in september :)
