goodwill ballard supplies 99% of my wardrobe

i'm back with another outfits post! i have a new spot where i take pictures in my new house. the lighting isn't quite as nice as the old spot and sometimes our laundry basket is in the background, but i'm making it work. i kinda miss the green door too. these pictures go back to last april, so quite a few seasons are covered. how many leopard items can you spot? ;)

1. i got all of these pieces at goodwill except for the shoes. the graphic tee is originally from forever 21 and has a picture/quote of frida kahlo. i don't own many graphic tees, but i want more! the green jacket is originally from gap (adds some structure and looks cute with any outfit), as are the gray jeans. i didn't have gray jeans for a while after getting rid of my last pair, so i'm happy they are back in rotation! the leopard shoes are from fred meyer. they were super cheap and are a fun pop to add to just about any outfit.

2. again, this entire outfit (minus the shoes) is from goodwill. the top is a brand i don't recognize, but i love the vertical stripes for something different. the colors (blue and gold) are not my norm either, but i love how it all works together. the jeans are my "fancy" DL1961 nordstrom jeans that i got for a steal at goodwill and the sandals were $20 at nordstrom rack. i wore them literally every day this summer until i wore through the soles after 3 months.

3. the demin jacket (originally old navy) and skirt (originally banana republic) are both from goodwill. i love the springy color of the skirt. my gray tee is one of my favorite universal thread v-necks from target. i think i have 5 or 6 different colors at this point. they are only $8 and sometimes even less on sale. you can see my cognac brown sandals again. they truly go with everything and my purse is the same color too.

4. again, all pieces (except the sandals) are from goodwill. i actually have bought one pair of shoes at goodwill, but i generally like to buy them new. the white tank top is a madewell whisper tank, which are usually around $20 new, so i was excited to find one at goodwill for $6. the wrap is a brand i don't recognize, but i love the look of a light layer, even when it's hot out. the jean shorts are originally from american eagle. i've gotten quite a few summers out of them. the sandals i found at ross and unfortunately the tan colored suede got dirty after just a couple wears, but they are cute "dressy" flip flops.

5. this whole outfit just makes me so happy! if i could wear one outfit for the rest of my life, this might be it. i had gotten new ankle boots (after 3-4 years of wear from my last ones) from nordstrom rack (the brand is kensie). i love the darker color, so they don't look as dirty. the striped tank is a brand i don't know, and the mustard cardigan is originally forever 21. these are the same DL1961 jeans.

6. the only dress in the batch! this dress is actually not from goodwill. i got it on clearance from a boutique called apricot lane on our summer trip to minnesota. it is the perfect summer dress. it's linen, and a wrap style and the colors are so nice together. my cognac brown sandals make another appearance.

7. more goodwill finds coming atcha! i really love poncho style sweaters though i wish this one was a little longer. it was originally from old navy. i love wearing a long sleeved shirt under it too, if it's cold out. the jean shorts i got this summer, originally from gap. they are true denim shorts (no stretch in the fabric) and they are so good! the sandals are from target and have a pop of leopard print on one of the straps. yes please!

8. this outfit i wore out for dinner with some girlfriends one night and got lots of compliments. the only goodwill item is the DL1961 jeans (see, they are a favorite). the black long sleeved shirt is from old navy. this is the closest i could find. the leopard wrap is from ross and i paid $5 for it! the shoes are one of my favorite shoes ever, but they have a bit of a heel (for me) so i don't wear them super often. i got them at DSW last year.

9. i have to laugh because i heard a fashion blogger that i follow say recently "tall boots are making a comeback." say what?! i had no idea they "went away". i've been wearing them all along. of course you can wear whatever you want, whenever you want, but the comment made me laugh. this is the only outfit in the bunch where none of the pieces are from goodwill. the boots are from target at least 2 years ago now. i got the sweater from old navy and it was $15 the day i popped into the store, but it's normally $30. i refer to the color as being so ugly that it's pretty. haha! the black leggings are zellas from nordstrom rack and they are the best!
