ashford: 14 months

ashford, your second year is just cruising on by. can't say i'm surprised by this :)

this month you took your second trip to florida (needless to say, you were a lot busier on the plane than last year when you were just 2 months old)

your favorite form of communication is screams, whines, and cries while pointing. you recently started answering "essss" when i ask you if you want something. you also bring things to me (like books) and say "essss" 

you've become a little more open to new foods, but veggies are still a challenge. you have hated bananas since we first gave them to you at 6 months, but all of a sudden you decided you liked them one day and have been gobbling them up ever since.

you wear size 12 month clothes, size 3 diaper, size 3 shoe, and size 12 and 18 mo pajamas. you don't go to the doctor until 15 months, but i imagine you weigh around 21 lbs?

your sleep is still about the same. one night you slept all the way through until 6:10am. that has never happened before. you were back to normal the next night. ;) you also may be dropping your morning nap in the next month or so, we shall see. 

we are still nursing and i am savoring every snuggle because i'm sure we'll be done in the next few months. 

you are such a ham. you "shhh" with your finger up to your mouth, you shake your head no. you love to be silly and get into mischief and play with your sister. she adores you too! 

as of 13.5 months, i would call you a full time walker
