family photos for ashford's one year

on december 28th we had a family photo session with our friend alison (alison bents photography) at the union depot in st. paul. she's taken pictures for us quite a few times over the last few years and we are always very happy with her work. this time was no exception! azalea was being a stinker and was not in the mood for posing, so she had to capture her "on the move" for most of the shoot. ha! i don't know if we'll keep doing family pictures every year when the kids get older, but for now i love capturing how much they've grown and changed, and it's nice for thatcher and me to get out from behind the camera and just have fun. here's a sampling of my favorites from the collection of over 100 pictures. enjoy!
