jackson street roundhouse

in addition to going to the state fair this past weekend, we also made a trip to st. paul to visit the jackson street round house. we had never been there before (and i had never even heard of it). thatcher's sister gave us a family pass for thatcher's birthday. thatcher loves trains and history and azalea is at a great age for that stuff too. it was a really cool museum! it had a bunch of old train cars (like, early 1900's) that you could walk around in, lots of train tables for kids to play with, and a free caboose ride! we had a great morning exploring and learning.

you should definitely check it out if you have kids (and even if you don't!)

What a cool place! My nephew would LOVE it, and I bet August will soon too. Thanks for the heads up! And that smile of Ashford's in the last pic! Love it.
