this weekend...

- it rained. a lot.  

- we hung out with our neighbors outside after work friday night (while it was still nice). tons of kids running around, it made me excited for summer! 

- we had a family date at glam doll donuts saturday morning. i've been there once before and i love it! thatcher learned that they recently started making vegan donuts (he can't eat dairy), so he had been super excited to go! and needless to say, azalea enjoyed her donut as well. ashford just looked at them longingly :)

 - we visited the new walker library in uptown for their grand opening. it's a beautiful building, with an awesome kids area! 

- we took a lot of naps. ashford and i weren't feeling the best and it was gloomy outside, so we enjoyed lots of snuggles on the couch.

- azalea and i went to  dinner at buca's for my friend/old boss/neighbor karen's birthday. it was a fun night, minus some less than desirable behavior from the three year old who doesn't have an ounce of patience these days. let's just say i'm thankful it is a loud restaurant.

- ashford and i met up with my friend carolina for coffee sunday morning. she is due with baby #2 in june, so we had lots of fun chatting about that. ashford was a good date :) 

- my parents stopped over sunday afternoon to help me entertain the kids while thatcher worked in the basement. except azalea stood at the top of the stairs and cried for him the entire time. she is something else these days...
