azalea quotes

i've been meaning to do one of these posts forever. azalea has been cracking us up so much lately with the stuff she says. here is a sampling of quotes heard around our house:

she calls us by our names a lot...

"mama...mama...mewissa!"

"pleassse fatcher?!"

me: "so you had a cookie at jean's today?"

azalea: "yes, I ate it in my mouth!"

driving in the car, listening to the radio:

azalea: "that's santa!"

me: "where's santa?"

azalea: "that's santa singing!"

putting on her shirt...

"i'm a pretty spider!"

every time we discipline her or ask her not to do something, she responds with

"it makes mama sad!" or rattles off all the rules "no screaming, no throwing ipod....and no hitting baby brother!" (she has never hit him)

she does not have a case of the "whys", but rather a case of the "where's". all day long we hear..

"where's dada?" (when he leaves the room) "where's grandpa/" "where'd elmo go?" (when he leaves the screen). it gets a little tiring answering 50 times a day. when you tell her where they are, she then says "he might be eating? he might be sleeping?" haha

And I saved the best for last...

yelling down the stairs to me while I'm doing the laundry:

"mama...? my 'gina wants to go downstairs!" (yep, you read that right!) :)
