it's taken me a week to even have five minutes and one free hand to post this, but i wanted to officially announce ashford's birth on here. it's been an overwhelming first week. much more challenging than i ever imagined. (i've done this all before right?). turns out it's a totally different ball game taking care of two little ones. especially when our sweet addition is a tad more demanding than azalea ever was as a newborn. and azalea is of course demanding more attention than usual as her little world has been turned upside down. i'm so thankful for all the help we've gotten from both sets of grandparents. i have so much i want to share about ashford's first week: his birth story, christmas, breastfeeding this time around, etc. bare with me as i try to squeeze in blogging. i really do miss it. for now it's back to the trenches :)
