baby #2: week 16 (adjusted time is 19 weeks)
july 29-aug 4
what has been going on this week: celebrated jack's 6th birthday, dinner with bridget + jess, les miserables show with sarah, fro yo date with diana, powderhorn art fair, kenny festival, came down with a cold over the weekend :(
size of baby: 4.5 inches long and weighs 3.5 oz. the size of an avocado baby center says a big growth spurt is coming - oh boy!
maternity clothes: enjoying the maternity clothes i've purchased this time around. not feeling most of the stuff i wore last time. i feel like it is already out-dated and it's only been 3 years. :/ luckily i'm still able to wear most of my regular shirts as well.
symptoms: broken out skin, hungry hungry hungry!
movement: i can't get over how strong the movements are. 16 weeks was when i first felt some little taps last time. at 16 weeks this time, baby is full-fledged busting a move in there. wow. i could even see my belly move from the outside this weekend.
gender: just 3 more weeks! it seemed so far away back in may, but time has flown by. that's summer for ya!
food cravings/aversions: same story. food = good, coffee = bad. not minding all the money i'm saving though. i hope my aversion goes away by fall, so i can enjoy some pumpkin spiced drinks i normally love!
morning sickness: just a little bit of nausea in the morning, not bad.
what i miss: again, not having to think about how much fish/seafood i'm consuming. funny how something sounds extra good when you are trying to limit it in your diet.
best moment of the week: hard to pick! it was such a fun week. mainly just thankful for another successful week carrying this little one.
what thatcher is saying: "i haven't thought about names yet at all, but i'm guessing you have?" haha. he is correct. i'm sure he'll be saying this at 35 weeks as well :)
what i'm looking forward to: 16 (17 actually) week appointment on august 14th and our big ultra sound at the end of august! i bought a few supplies for a mini gender reveal party i'm planning. :)
azalea photo bomb!
