low brow dinner, 3rd birthday party, the color run
taking a break from the baby-related posts to bring you this weekend's recap. :) friday night my high school friend katie was in town, so she and our friend anna and i grabbed dinner at the low brow in minneapolis. it was my first time going there, and i loved it. it was so nice to catch up with the girls. we even had a former biology teacher from our high school stop at our table because she recognized us. she said we were all "so grown up" haha!
saturday we had a birthday party in the north metro for our friends nate and missy's son, cameron, who was turning 3! it was a cute transformers themed party. there were hot dogs, pizza, games for the kids, and cake. azalea didn't quite "get" the organized games, but i think she had fun anyways :)
saturday evening we attended a 40th anniversary party for one of thatcher's co-workers and her husband. it was held at an italian restaurant in burnsville and we brought azalea along. she did pretty well! we hung out with thatcher's co-workers a bit and then headed home so azalea could get to bed.
sunday morning thatcher did the color run with a few of his co-workers. he is not a runner, but decided to walk with a few others. azalea and i went along to watch. it rained a little at the beginning, but luckily it let up. people go crazy for this run! i have to admit i was a little disappointed with how clean thatcher looked when he was done. haha!
we spent the rest of the day running some errands and relaxing at home. it was much needed. i'm off today for a doctors appointment (yay!), but i'll be working the rest of the week, which is going to make it feel really long. i know, i know....i'll stop :)
