instagram friday

today is my last day of work before a five day weekend. pretty excited about that one! i'm sort of sad that christmas will be over in a matter of days, though. i know, i'm pathetic...it's ok! tonight we are having our annual christmas get together with my best friend kelli's family, tomorrow my aunt and cousins are coming into town from atlanta, and sunday we are hoping to make it to the hollidazzle parade! should be fun!

quick dad update: he had his port removed on tuesday because it was infected. the removal was quick and simple, and he seems to be healing well. he will not get a new one put in until mid-january. he has chemo next week and it will be administered via an IV in his arm. please keep him in your thoughts and prayers today - he has a scan to see if his chemo has been kicking some cancer butt!
