if you really knew me...

this has been floating around the blog world for...ohhhh a few months, but i'm just jumping on the band wagon now (typical). if you really knew me...

you would know that...thatcher was the first and only guy i ever dated. i used to be embarrassed by that, but now i'm just thankful i lucked out on the first try :)

you would know that..i am left-handed. most of the time i don't mind it, but i always hated scissors when i was in elementary school and still hate the fact that sometimes my writing smears.

you would know that...i don't talk politics much on the blog, but i am a huge obama supporter. i also believe very strongly in marriage equality!

you would know that...i had a pretty bad experience breast feeding azalea and i'm terrified of how it will go with my next baby (when he or she comes along). i really hope i can make it work next time, because I think it's so important.

you would know that...i played softball, volleyball, danced, and did karate as a kid (not all at the same time). i think it's funny because i don't really consider myself to be athletic anymore.

you would know that...we are a one car family. thatcher bikes to work year round!

you would know that...i babysat all the time as a pre-teen/teen, but we haven't had anyone under the age of 25 ever watch azalea. ha!

you would know that...i've been to 37 states, thanks to many road trips my parents took me on as a kid.

you would know that...i claim that i wish i lived in a place with warm weather year round, but the truth is i would really miss having seasons.

you would know that...i love just about any kind of food, but one thing i can't stand is goat cheese.

you would know that...i've worked for the same company since i graduated from college 6 years ago. thatcher has been at his company for 7 years. i feel like everyone i know has changed jobs at least once since college.

you would know that...i love any opportunity to hang out with friends, but i actually prefer to shop by myself. i love not feeling like i'm holding people up while i try stuff on, etc.

you would know that...i'm sort of obsessed with christmas and i start listening to christmas music way before it's socially acceptable...alone...in my car :)

so there you have it! useful information about moi to fill your brain with!

I am so with you on the shopping one! I love shopping alone and feel bad if I am with someone and they have to wait while I try stuff on!!! haha.

As you know I struggled breast feeding Cam. It's gnoing better with Mallory. It still hurts a bit and because she was so small I have to supplement a small amount. We're really hopeful that we can stop that when she passes her birth. weight. So each baby is different and it might be just fine with your second. Who is coming when? (Couldn't resist asking. You brought it up).

I agree with Missy on the breast feeding thing. Each baby is different. I breast fed Alexa for 10 months and then couldn't produce any more milk. With Lilli, I breast fed her for 2 years and still had enough to feed an entire community! haha

I am an Obama supporter, will vote for marriage equality AND I'm Catholic!

I love Christmas music and could listen to it all year round. :))))

I love all the pics of yourself that you posted. Gorgeous!

NOOOOOO--- but goat cheese is SO GOOD! sadness. hahaha.

Also, I'm 100% with you on the shopping thing. Absolutely no way I'm ever bringing a man shopping (they're even worse) but if I want to stand in that dressing room for 25 minutes and AGONIZE over that dress, or pass by that same rack of tops and just stare at them for a half hour.. I don't want to feel guilty about it! haha

Wow, many things I didn't know! I am 100% with you (and others by the looks of it) on the shopping thing. I thought I was the only one!

I hope breastfeeding goes well for you the 2nd time around. That's one of the many things I'm nervous about.

Very cool your hubby bikes to work, wish I could do that!

I love this post! One of those photos looks like it's from Bluefin Bay? I love it up there. I've been with the same company for 5.5 years while many of my friends have had a few career changes, interesting in our young lives! Also, I enjoy shopping alone too! There is something to be said with some quality alone time with your thoughts...and wallet... ha ha!

Great post! It's fun learning new things about you and so many I can relate to!!
I love these posts!

I'm totally with you on the shopping thing! And the Christmas music. I used to not be a fan of Christmas music, because I worked retail. But now that I've been out of it for quite a few years, I'm starting to like it again!

I prefer to shop alone too. I've gone with people and then gone back to the stores to try stuff on. :)

I love this post!
I think it is so sweet that Thatcher is the only guy you've dated. I love that, and Azalea will love that about her parents.

And-I love shopping alone too :)

HOW many times have I eaten lunch with you, and I did not know about the goat cheese. But I did know about the Christmas obsession and it's one of the things I find especially endearing about you.

I LOVE this post. What a great idea. There were several things I knew, and some new things. The most surprising one I can't believe I haven't noticed...you're left handed?! I'm so observant. Ha! I will be copying this post, just FYI. :)
I'm glad to know you, friend!

I love getting to know fellow bloggers more. I took tons of road trips as a kid. I'd much rather drive somewhere than take a plane (if I can)
