mn bloggers take over the paint pub!

last night was our second mn blogger get together. you'll remember i met these ladies in real life for the first time two months ago when we went to psycho suzi's for happy hour. unlike last time i wasn't nervous at all because i felt like i was meeting up with old friends. pretty cool! 

the get together was at the paint pub in maple grove. i don't go out in that neck of the woods very often...and i ended up getting lost. i was in the wrong lane when i exited the highway and ended up back on the highway and had to drive nearly 10 miles before i could around. not fun, but i made it! the paint pub is an awesome place where you pay to attend an art class, lead by an instructor who gives you step by step instructions to painting a picture on canvas. they also sell adult beverages to enjoy while you paint. super fun! we had a private party and everyone did the same picture. 

here is our group including 3 new ladies who came out! so glad they did :) 

while i wasn't nervous about seeing the girls, i was nervous about painting because i have pretty much zero artistic ability. but i shouldn't have worried...they go slow enough where everyone's paintings turned out awesome! i was amazed.
