bloggy play date

on wednesday, azalea and i met up with andrea and her daughter avrie for a little play date. andrea and i had been following each others blogs for a while and we met in person at the mn blogger happy hour, so we decided to get together with our girls. they are just 3 months apart! andrea and avrie live about 45 minutes north of us, so we picked a spot in the middle: the eagle's nest indoor playground in new brighton.

as soon as we arrived and azalea saw the playground, her eyes got really wide and she was out-of-her-mind excited to go play on everything. just like with the other indoor playground we went to a few weeks ago, she got to wear a tiny wristband again. and again, it was pretty much the cutest thing ever. andrea and avrie arrived and we took the girls over the the "age 3 and under" area to play. such a great idea in theory, but unfortunately there were quite a few bigger kids in there, being wild, etc. where were their parents?! you know the mama bears complained at the front desk before we left :) 

the girls had fun playing on the slides, the treehouse, the puffy mats, and in the mini ball pit. and the moms had fun chatting. i love that blogging lead to meeting andrea and avrie! looking forward to our next play date. and the next mn blogger happy hour!
