vancouver love part 2
on monday, the conference went all day (8:45 - 4:00). it actually went pretty fast and we had the evening to do whatever we wanted. thatcher and i met back at the hotel and rested for a while before heading over to yaletown with karen to explore and have dinner.
we made reservations at a chinese fusion restaurant. it ended up being a little more trendy that we probably were looking for, but the food was really good.

tuesday was the last day of the conference. and we only had to be there from 8:45 to 12:30, which was nice. after we broke down our exhibit, karen and i went back to the hotel. thatcher and i went out to get some lunch and explore some more neighborhoods. we ended up having lunch in yaletown again, this time at a thai restaurant. we spent the rest of the afternoon walking/taking transit all around vancouver.

that evening we grabbed a late dinner at a new restaurant right on the water. again, we felt a little out of place at this super trendy restaurant (all the waitresses looked like super models), but the food was good and the view was amazing!
we headed home wednesday morning. i was on a direct flight, thatcher had a layover. we actually ran into some friends from home at the vancouver airport. crazy, huh? it was so good to get back to my little girl...i missed her so much!
