baby food swap

last weekend we were invited to participate in a baby food swap. as you can guess, the idea was to make one ice cube tray full of a puree for each family that would be coming (in this case, 4) and then you would get to take 4 other kinds home with you. we didn't know anyone besides the hosts, but i was really fun. we brought pureed apples to share. all the parents, kids, and babies hung out for a couple hours. it was fun to watch the babies explore each other :) we got to bring home pears, squash/peas, pumpkin, and a carrot ginger soup! it can be time consuming to make lots of different types of purees, so this was a brilliant idea! so far azalea has tried the pumpkin and pears and both were a hit! if you have a group of mom friends, i definitely recommend setting up one of these swaps!
