6 month appointment

just a short post about azalea's 6 month appointment, for my own memory. azalea, you are such a little string bean!

weight: 14 lbs, 13 oz (25%)

length: 27 inches (90%)

head circumference: 41.5 cm (25%)

you had to get a couple immunizations and we also decided to give you the flu shot since you go to daycare and we aren't taking any chances with you getting sick this winter. you cried pretty hard right when they poked you, but we were able to console you fairly quickly. i hate seeing you in pain :( 

the doctor said you are perfect, which makes us so happy to hear! we are supposed to up the frequency of your solids during the day in hopes that you will put on a little more weight. you were very smiley and social-able with the doctor. we love you so much, little girl!
