4 month appointment
azalea had her 4 month appointment yesterday. no pictures this time :) i just want to record her stats, so i don't forget.
weight: 13 lbs, 3 oz. (50%)
length: 25.25 inches (75%)
head circumference: 40.5 cm (25%)
she continues to be our long and lean little girl! she had to get her second round of vaccinations, 3 in her thighs and 1 orally (oral one is not a shot). she let out the saddest scream when they poked her, but she stopped crying immediately when we picked her up and gave her a bottle.
we talked with the doctor about starting solids. i always thought you were supposed to start with rice cereal, but she said that cereal, veggies, or fruit is fine. i'm thinking we'll probably start with cereal when azalea turns 5 months. i'm excited!
she slept most of the afternoon/evening yesterday. and when she was awake she was drowsy...almost drunk-like. she was even cuddly (read: not trying to escape), which doesn't happen too often these days. have i mentioned how much i adore this little girl?
