a year ago today

a year ago today i found out i was pregnant! i can't decide if it feels like longer than a year or like it was just yesterday. i know i say that all the time, but it's true. it's crazy to think how much our lives have changed in the past 365 days. all that was on my mind that day was getting through my last day of work for the week and going up to duluth for my friend dani's wedding (and being a bridesmaid!). today i'm at work, missing my almost 4 month old girl. wow. 

i almost didn't take a test that morning because i hadn't been feeling any different than normal and my cycles weren't exactly consistent, but i thought i better take one...just in case. i was pretty shocked when it actually came out positive. not that i was pregnant, but that i was pregnant and couldn't tell. i think i took a test the week before and it came out negative. i couldn't wait more than 5 minutes to tell thatcher. haha. then i had to get through a whole day at work and an entire weekend full of wedding festivities (and booze-which i obviously didn't drink) without telling anyone...stressful stuff :) 

so glad i snapped this picture at 6am, un-showered and with no make up on - love it
