weekend fun

we had a busy and fun weekend! friday was my father-in-law's birthday, so we celebrated with the family at davanni's and at thatcher's parents' with dessert and presents. no pictures from that night. (sorry)

yesterday we had a wedding to attend for my co-worker richard and his bride, katie. azalea spent the evening at thatcher's parents while we were out. the wedding was at macalester college and it was gorgeous! it was super hot out, so we were all glad to be sitting in the nice air conditioned building :) everyone from my office was invited, so that was a lot of fun.

i had a blast at this wedding. i get such a kick out of hanging out with my co-workers at functions like this. our ceo was tearing up the dance floor and every one was just having a good time. when we got back to thatcher's parents' house, miss azalea was still awake (she did nap for a while in the evening). we missed her, but it sounds like she had a great time with grandma and grandpa. 

today we went to the mn zoo with our good friends, liz & joe and their 2 boys. it was hot hot hot once again.

azalea wasn't too into the zoo ;) she slept a little and looked up at the trees. i bet next summer it will be more fun for her.
