memorial weekend

we had a weekend filled with good friends, family, and good food. it was a busy time, but i love that we are getting into a good parenting groove now where it's second nature taking her everywhere with us and having people over. especially friends with kids who are extra understanding about feeding times, etc. it's so fun to experience with crazy new world along with them.

friday night our friends jeff and chrissy came over with their 4 month old daughter, tegan. we were lazy and ordered pizza. it was fun to just hang out and relax. i love that the girls are so close in age. right now they don't pay much attention to each other, but i can't wait to watch them interact in the months and years to come.

saturday morning we walked to my parents' house (a little over 2 miles) and then went to the new fulton farmers market near their house with them and my brother. azalea loves her uncle brandon!

saturday evening we grilled with our neighbors ryan and rebekah. it was a nice night to hang out in the backyard. azalea slept outside in her bouncy seat and later on my chest while we watched a movie. no pics from that night.

sunday afternoon we went to our friends nate and missy's. they have a little boy, cameron who is 10 months old. he was very intrigued by azalea. it's crazy to think we will be chasing her around in just a few short months!

this afternoon we had our friends liz and joe and their boys jake (2) and max (5 months) over for dinner. the boys just love azalea and i can't wait until she is big enough to play with them. i'm so thankful for such good friends!

whew! i'm exhausted from all the fun. let's hope our little miss sleeps well tonight. i hope you all had a good long weekend!
