36 weeks

we're only 1 week away from baby girl reaching full term and 4 weeks away from our due date. excuse me while i process that. i'm so excited to meet her, a little scared about what i have to go through to achieve that, but overall...i'm ready. i think she's ready too. the other night i was convinced that she was going to burst through the front of my belly. she was stretching her little legs out as far as they would go and it was not pleasant for this mama...but i couldn't help but laugh. wouldn't it be weird if we could remember being in the womb? ha!

we have a few projects to tackle this weekend including setting up the pack n play in our room (where baby will sleep at first), installing the car seat, and washing our cloth diapers. i got an email from target this morning informing me that the shipping of our glider has been "delayed", which is a bummer. hopefully it will come soon. 

at 36 weeks, baby girl is nearly 6 lbs and 18.5 inches long. i go to the doctor again this thursday, so we'll see if they can tell if she has any immediate plans to join the world. i'm not quite to the "omg get her out of me stage," but give me a couple more weeks :)
