christmas 2010 recap

christmas has come and gone in a flash. doesn't it always seem that way? you shop, prep, decorate for a month and then all of a sudden it's all over. usually i'm sort of depressed on the 26th of december, but this year is different. december 26th just means i'm one day closer to meeting my girl!

we had 3 days of festivities again this year. it's nice that our families are so flexible, so we can see everyone at some point. christmas is much more complicated when you are married, but twice the fun :)

we started off on the 23rd with my mom's side of the family at my grandma's condo building. she reserved the party room, which is way more than enough space for the 11 of us.

most everyone sitting around before dinner

we always play white elephants with a mix of gag gifts and some desirable ones. thatcher scored a lottery ticket (non-winner, as it turned out) and I got some hazelnut chocolate.

i made thatcher pose for a couple photos. at least he pretends he likes it ;)

the boys were tired out at the end of the night from all the excitement. haha.

christmas eve was spent at thatcher's parents' house with his sister, brother, and our nephew.

the pretty tree

this is the first christmas we've gotten to spend with jack. and what's cuter than a 3 year old on christmas eve? not much if you ask me :)

he was so excited about all his gifts

these boys were pretty excited too!

christmas day we hosted my parents and brother at our house.

yep, i'm a dork and like taking pictures of my table all set. are you surprised? :)

i thought i should take a belly shot with my parents, since they'll be gone in fl for the next couple months before baby comes

the present aftermath. baby even scored some nice gifts from her grandparents and santa. what a lucky girl!

hope you all had a great christmas. it's back to work tomorrow for me, but just for 4 days!
