18 weeks

here we are at 18 weeks. only ONE more week until we find out the sex and get to see our baby live and in action (well...on a screen). considering at our last ultrasound baby was just a little blob, it will be so exciting to see what he or she looks like now. at 18 weeks baby is about 5.5 inches long and weighs around 7 ounces. still itty bitty, but growing! he or she has been moving around a lot, which is reassuring and fun! oddly enough i don't notice any movement at night, which is when they are supposed to be most active. i think that means baby is already sleeping like a perfect angel at night....right! :) yesterday i felt the strongest movement to date while sitting at my desk at work. i could actually see my stomach move from the outside and i could feel it with my hand. of course thatcher and i want it to happen again when he is around, but so far no luck. what a little stinker!
