17 weeks

we've made it another week and we're inching closer to the half way mark (and our big ultrasound!). i can't believe it! the weeks are flying by right now and i have a feeling they will continue to do so until after the holiday season. doesn't life just seem to slow down then in general? at 17 weeks baby is about 5 inches long and weighs around 5 ounces. i've been feeling movements off and on all week (more off than on). baby can hear now, so maybe it's time to start reading stories to my belly :) last night my mom and i went to the lady antebellum concert at the u of m. the show was great (and loud!)...i hope i didn't give baby hearing loss. haha. i feel like i'm getting really big, but i'm sure i'll look back in a couple months and laugh! i just remind myself getting bigger is a good sign.
