14 weeks

we've made it to 14 weeks! every week is such a milestone in baby's development and of course it means we are one week closer to meeting our little one. i can't wait! some stats about baby this week: he or she is 3.5 inches long now and weighs 1.5 ounces. baby can also do some pretty cute facial expressions including squinting and grimacing. even cooler is that his or her hands can grasp, which may mean some thumb sucking is going on. so cute. today we went to an apple orchard with missy, nathaniel, and baby cameron. (i'll do a separate post on that). It was a gorgeous day, but a little cool! i can't believe in less than 5 weeks we'll (hopefully!) get to find out the sex. here i am at 14 weeks...growing growing growing :)
