weeknight fun

most of our weeknights are spent making dinner, playing with azalea, giving her a bath and putting her to bed....not super blog worthy. but this week i had all sorts of fun stuff in the evenings, so it's getting its own post.

tuesday night we celebrated our nephew jack's 6th birthday with cake and presents at his house with both sides of his family. i can't believe he is 6 already! he will be starting kindergarten in september and he's lost 2 teeth (which he is very proud of) :) he's such a fun kid and azalea looooves him!

wednesday night i met up with fellow bloggers bridget and jess for sushi in st. paul. what started as meeting to pick up our norwex purchases from bridget, turned into a fun dinner out and chance to catch up. it was a beautiful night out on the patio and i had a great time hanging out with them! while the big group get togethers are always a blast, it's equally as fun to have the opportunity to hang out in smaller groups and really get to know each other (more).

thursday night my college roomie sarah and i went to see les miserables at the orpheum downtown. i had never seen les miserables until the movie came out and i fell in love. when i saw it was coming here this summer, i knew i had to buy tickets. we started off the night at crave for dinner and then went to the show. it was amazing. so cool to see it come to life on stage. i'm so happy i got the chance to go!

happy friday!

I'm embarrassed to say that I still haven't seen Les Mis! And I even love music, theater, and period dramas! Shame on me.

That bar left of the theater? That's my favorite bar. The end.

Just kidding. Not the end. I wish I could have met you for sushi. My mouth is watering for it right now. Sorry for being lazy.
